Privacy Information
How Dublin Walking handles enquiry details and contact services.

Who is responsible
Dublin Walking is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to info@dublinwalking.com.
Tour enquiries
The secure enquiry form stores the details you submit and creates a reference confirming receipt. This may include your name, email, preferred contact method, requested dates, group details, tour interests and practical requirements.
Do not include payment-card details, health records or other sensitive personal information. For school groups, describe needs generally and do not name individual children.
Why information is used
Dublin Walking uses enquiry information to answer questions, check availability, prepare proposals, administer requested pre-booking steps and keep a record of the resulting correspondence. The relevant legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract and Dublin Walking’s legitimate interest in operating and protecting its enquiry service.
Storage, access and retention
Enquiries are stored with the website hosting provider and are available only through a protected owner view. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, administer any resulting booking, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes, then deleted or anonymised.
Service providers
The website hosting provider processes technical and enquiry data to operate the service. If you choose email or WhatsApp, those providers process information under their own privacy terms. Information is not sold for advertising.
Bookings and payments
This website does not currently provide an online checkout and does not collect card data. Current availability, terms and any payment arrangements are confirmed separately. Never submit payment-card details through the form, email or WhatsApp.
Your rights
Depending on applicable Irish and EU data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. Some rights are limited where information must be retained for legal reasons.
Analytics and cookies
The website does not include a Google Analytics tag, Meta pixel, advertising tracker or retargeting tag. The hosting platform may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the website and may provide aggregate traffic information.
Contact
Include an enquiry reference where possible when contacting info@dublinwalking.com.
